VersaBond LFT Professional Large Format Tile Mortar is a general purpose fortified medium bed mortar that is both economical and polymer-modified. This dry-set LFT mortar is suitable for use with vitreous, semi-vitreous and non-vitreous tiles and pavers made from ceramic, quarry and cement, as well as impervious porcelain, brick and stone veneer, cement-based pre-cast terrazzo, and gauged or ungauged natural stone tiles. The non-slumping, lippage eliminating formula allows for large and heavy tiles to be set with up to 3/4 In. (19 mm) thick application of mortar. Suitable substrates include surfaces treated with MBP Multi-Surface bonding primer, uncoupling mats, crack isolation sheet and liquid-applied waterproofing membranes, some plywood, gypsum wallboard, existing tile, vinyl flooring and plastic laminates. VersaBond-LFT is approved for industry-recommended dry interior/exterior area applications and cures quickly in cold climates. Exceeds ANSI A118.4 and A118.11 standards without the need for additives.
